Registration

Participation at Hypertension Sydney 2012 is open to all persons interested in hypertension and associated fields.

Online registration has now closed. To register for the meeting please click here to download the hard-copy registration form and provide to the cashier at the registration desk onsite. Please note that all persons attending the Meeting must register. 

For urgent assistance regarding accommodation, including changes to existing reservations, please contact the hotel directly. 

For all other queries, please ask the staff at the registration desk when you arrive at the Meeting. The Registration Desk will be located in the Parkside Promenade and will be operating at the following times:

* Comprehensive registration fees include an additional Welcome Reception and Meeting Dinner ticket (for your accompanying person).

To be entitled to the early registration fee you must have registered and paid by Friday 1 June 2012.

A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or international student card. Any individual enrolled at a tertiary institution and working towards either a BSc, MSc or PhD qualifies for the student rate. Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate.

This registration fee entitles delegates to the following:  

  • Admission to all Meeting Sessions, including breakfast sessions (spaces limited), poster cheese & wine sessions
  • All official documentation, including program booklet, access to abstract proceedings and list of participants
  • Ticket to Welcome Reception on Sunday 30 September 2012 (*additional ticket (1) included with Comprehensive registration type)
  • Ticket to Meeting Dinner on Wednesday 3 October 2012 (*additional ticket (1) included with Comprehensive registration type)
  • Morning and Afternoon Teas on all Meeting days
  • Lunch on all Meeting days
  • Official Meeting satchel

STUDENT

This registration fee entitles delegates to the following:

Payment of Registration Fees

NOTE: Registrations will not be processed or confirmed until payment in full is received.

Payment may be made by cheque or credit card. MasterCard, Visa and American Express are the credit cards accepted at the Meeting. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Conference by arinex’.

Cheques should be made payable to ‘arinex pty limited on behalf of ISH2012’. Your name and full address should be typed or printed clearly on the back of the cheque. Cheque payments from overseas must be a bank cheque in Australian Dollars drawn on an Australian Bank. No other currency will be accepted. The Meeting is unable to accept payments by direct transfer.

GROUP REGISTRATIONS

The group registration is offered when a single entity registers ten (10) or more individuals. The group registration form is available via a hard copy form. To request a form, please email ish2012@arinex.com.au.

The Group registration form must be received by the Meeting Managers on or before 1 June 2012 to be eligible for the early registration fee and payment must be received by Friday 10 August 2012, even without the list of participants. The final list of participants must be submitted by Friday 31 August 2012. Should this deadline not be met, the difference between early and standard registration fees will apply and must be paid in order to process the Group registration.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

Your registration and payment will be acknowledged via email or post with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form.  Your registration will not be processed or confirmed if payment does not accompany your form.

Updates to the Meeting program and general information will be posted on the website and you are encouraged to visit the website regularly.

CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE

Certificates of Attendance will be available via the Meeting Website at the conclusion of the Meeting.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Cancellations and requests for refunds must be received in writing prior to the Meeting.

Registration Fees:

  • Before Wednesday 13 June 2012 will incur an A$100 cancellation fee.
  • From Thursday 14 June until Wednesday 8 August 2012 will receive a 50% refund of fees paid.
  • After Wednesday 8 August 2012 there will be no refunds.

Accommodation:

  • A minimum one night's deposit must be paid at time of booking to guarantee a reservation
  • Deposit is non-refundable at 27 August 2012.

Social and Tours:

  • Payments are non-refundable at Wednesday 8 August 2012.
